#029 Both Sides Of The Wall with Bronwyn Spilsbury and Walter Brynjolfson

What is it like to visit Israel and Palestine in the 21st century? Is it anything like Israel in the time of Jesus? How can we talk about people on both sides of conflict in a way that communicates the hope of Jesus Christ? Join Claire Perini, Bronwyn Spilsbury and Walter Brynjolfson as we discuss these questions and more on this week's episode of the Regent College Podcast. Bronwyn Spilsbury is the director and pastoral host of Holy Land and Bible Land journeys. She’s a speaker, preacher and writer, a mother and a motivator. Before coming to Vancouver 2 1/2 years ago, with her husband Paul, who is academic Dean and New Testament professor here at Regent, Bronwyn was serving as a pastor on a large church team in Calgary. Each year, Bronwyn leads several pilgrim-journeys to lands of the Bible. She says there’s nothing better than helping people encounter the face of God in the places where He first revealed Himself. This October, Bronwyn will be co-leading a journey to the Holy Land with one of Regent’s beloved founders, first Principal and Professor emeritus, Dr. Jim Houston. Walter Brynjolfson is not a student at Regent College but both of his parents are graduates from Regent. His wife Daniella is currently enrolled in the MA, with a concentration in the Arts and Theology program. He just came back from living abroad in Bethlehem for 2 years where he was enrolled at Bethlehem Bible College in their peace studies program and where he started a social Enterprise called Peace Parcels. https://www.regent-college.edu/
